Sausage Rolls, Meat pies, Sausages.....

Looking to find any types of English, Irish, or Australian foods in the chicago area

Any suggestions anyone

  1. Owen & Engine comes to mind. If the online menu is up to date, there are no sausage rolls but they do have a pasty, bangers & mash and bubble & squeak. You could also try Pleasant House Bakery in Bridgeport. They are also BYO and conveniently located next to Maria's (to pick up said 'B').

    1. Chief O'Neils has a new chef who is committed to a more authentic menu...but give it a bit of time as he's only been there a couple of weeks

      1. The Red Lion in Lincoln Square has bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, Cornish pasty and vegetable pasty on their regular menu. I have eaten all of these but the vegetarian pasty. No telling what may show up as a special.

        They have several imported and craft beers on tap. Selection varies.
