I'd say the now dead gourmet magazine, especially since it had about the same number of ads as vogue.

Probably Art Culinaire.

Gastronomica would be one, Food Arts another.

depends upon in what regard OP meant the comparison but Gastronomica is a scholarly journal and Food Arts is a trade publication. I wouldn't consider either of them comparable to Vogue.

I took the question to mean, perhaps wrongly, to ask:
Which magazine has flashy food photo sequences similar to flashy fashion photos?

Food Arts isn't comparable to Vogue - more like a monthly version of WWD - but it does more or less keep you abreast of the fashions. (Food & Wine may be vaguely akin to Elle.) Bon App has devolved into Maxim.
Gourmet was indeed the last authoritative food magazine.

That is sad ='( Guess many people wouldn't be able to appreciate food as they should :/

I know Gastronomica very well and agree with ChefJune except to say that evaluations of G as a food magazine or not will vary by city. I am from NJ/NY and many of us would place G in an aesthetics or literary magazine category. Some of my friends collect G as if they were collecting Art in America or Architectural Digest not for the same reasons that Gourmet was "collected"). I think CJ's moniker...scholarly journal...is a very good way to describe G except that G is a very specialized scholarly journal. BTW, I am an academic, and serious scholarly journals, even in the mainstream humanities, aren't fancy. Exceptions occur for some journals in concentrations like Women's Studies, AfA Studies, Critical Studies, etc

It depends how you mean that question. .. . .
In the historical sense - Gourmet would be similar - Gourmet's long history and its game changing perspective on food (back in the day, before food was "cool") mirror the history of Vogue.
From a current perspective - I don't think there is an equivalent. While I love the three already mentioned (Art Culinaire, Gastronomica, Food Arts) none of them really have the reach of Vogue. Maybe it is because food has many different aspects - technique, history, culture, plating, ingredients, etc. I don't think there is a magazine that really embodies all of those in one place.

"because food has many different aspects" as does all other topic and it isn't like Vogue necessarily covers all those you mentioned

It seems like Gourmet branched off into Epicuriou and Bon Appétit. Bon Appétit is owned by the same company, Condé Nast, and seems to be a sufficient comparable, at least for me, which has the visual appeal and reach supported by being owned by a large corp. I'm unsure if Bon Appétit's current content is of the same quality as Gourmet in the past however.
