  1. I don't know of any places in the East Valley. If you'e willing and able to venture west of the 101, you can try Christopher's, which serves a delicious boudin noir. Tapas Papa Frita in Old Town Scottsdale lists a morcilla tapa on their menu. I haven't eaten at TPF in many many years, so I can't comment on the quality.

I adore the morcilla at Tapas Papa Frita. I may disapprove of their fancified, too-thick, sauced-up tortilla presentation, but their morcilla is almost as good as I have ever had. Rich and garlicky.

That comment threw me. Tapas Papa Frita seemed fairly new, to me. It looks like the current version might be TPF 3.0.

My dinners were at TPF version 1.0 back in the early 90s. :-)

      2. OK, after some searching I found one (near) East Valley option: Robbie Fox's in Tempe serves a blood pudding and mushroom starter. Credit New Times for that find.

EDIT: Looks like someone needs to add an entry to the places database for Robbie Fox's.
