Souffles Cafe, new HK-style dessert cafe opens in Chinatown

Fans of Hong Kong crossover cafe exotica will want to check out Souffles Cafe which just opened ar 1401 Powell St. at Broadway (next to the former Imperial Tea flagship). It features 10 different souffles which "are for dine in only and take about 25 minutes to prepare," salads, sweet tofu, ice cream, and the usual range of fruit dessert and drinks. The opening menu, which was being handed out around Chinatown, is shown below.

I've been thinking about this for a while... Is this the first HK dessert cafe in Chinatown? The only other's I know of are in the Richmond or Sunset. I know I'll be there to see how there sesame paste is.

I'm not a dessert fan so I don't keep score. There are a number of places in Chinatown with boba, gelato, crepes and other sweets, but i can't think of another one that appears to have a menu that broad.

I was thinking more of the traditional Hong Kong dessert cafe stuff like Do Fu Fa and Green Bean Soup and Tong Yuen... stuff like that. There are 4 in the Richmond and 2? in the Sunset, but I don't know of any in any other parts of town.
