Looking for latkes supply for shul event in Brooklyn, NY
Hi,
I'm looking for a Brooklyn place that can supply (good tasting) latkes for take-out for up to 60 people or so. Delivery to Park Slope or pickup; either way is good. Must, of course, have kosher supervision.
Thanks!
Have you tried Olga? It's not on her menu, but she may do it if asked, and she's right in the area.

Costco has potatoe latkes out here, They have the proper hecksher and they are not Mral Mart but they are excellent. My friends use them. they are thick and crunchy. I prefer the thin ones so I make them myself.

Do you mind telling us which event this is for, and where and when it's being held? :-)

Trader Joe's is the best frozen latke out there, imo. I wonder if there's a way to buy in bulk.

Yeah, but why go frozen, when perhaps Olga can make them fresh and deliver them for a reasonable price?

I was replying to laura's post about Costco.

Oh. You must have clicked the wrong link or something, because it came out as a reply to my post instead.

We are getting them from Mendelson's. Thanks for the suggestion.
Zsero--if you provide an email address, I will answer your question above (what, where, when) offline. Just don't think Chowhound is an appropriate forum for shul publicity.
