Peking Duck for 2
The moment is near and we fly to NYC in the morning. Where would be the best place to enjoy Peking Duck? I have checked a couple of places (including the Peking Duck House) and they say a minimum of 4 people. We're subway and bus savy, don't mind a ride, we're staying in Midtown East and we're adventurous eaters. Thank you for your recommendations.

Try the Peking Duck in two courses at Fuleen on Division St. The chopped meat with mushrooms in lettuce was especially good, as were the buns for the crispy skin. I was actually disappointed with other dishes there. Deyi Peking Duck house in Flushing is very good and more authentic.
I don't like the Peking Duck House in Manhattan--too touristy, too much "attitude", and they only give you the duck skin, no option for other course (as far as I know).-----

Peking Duck House absolutely does offer peking duck for 2. They may have told you the minimum was 4 because they were referring to the Peking Duck Dinner, which is a set menu that includes a number of courses. If all you wanted was peking duck, just get one whole peking duck. It's the one that costs $50 at the Midtown location ($45 at the Chinatown location). One whole duck is just the right amount of food for two people. You don't even need to order anything else if you don't want to. http://www.pekingduckhousenyc.com/men...
