Layer Cake Wine [Canton, MI]

SonyBob Dec 13, 2011 11:42 AM

Hi Guys
I have my son-in-law for our secret Santa this year. He likes Layer Cake wine. I know absolutely nothing about wine. Can anyone recommend a good retail outlet here on the west side (I live in Canton) where I might pick some up?

Thanks to all. Found what I was looking for (cabernet) at Holiday Market. I realize that it's not "fine wine" but he likes it as a day to day kinda thing.
Happy holidays to all of you.

I know that Meijer on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor has a variety of Layer Cake offerings.

You could try the MI distributor listed on their website: www.layercakewine.com/distributors. Also, it looks like the Layer Cake Shiraz (but no other varieties) is carried by Busch's.

I think it's a pretty common wine. You should be able to pick it up at most wine shops...might even want to try Meijer.

Layer Cake is distributed by Heidelberg Distributing Co. in Ohio. You can call their location in Independence at 216-520-2626 and ask them for a retail store near you.
