Where can I find sausage casings in montreal to make my own sausages.Sheep or pork will be fine.I live in Ndg and work on Jean-Talon/Parc.

Any help would be great.

P.S I asked at William suisse at JTM but they do not sell them.

    Good luck!

    1. The guys at Tranzo should be able to help you out. As should any place that makes sausages in-house. William doesn't.

Maitre Boucher would be another source.

      1. I didn't read through kpzoo's suggested threads but,
Frutta Si on Schevchenko in LaSalle has them: right-most aisle (meat) as you walk in at the back just before the deli-counter. They're salted pork casings. Sometimes they'll put out sheep (lamb?), but if you don't see it, just ask the butcher at the back.

As for decent price...a pack will run $6-$7. This may seem reasonable (and I think it is), but pound for pound, casings are pricey (I dunno, what $30/lb? where the pork you are stuffing can run cheap as 99c/lb....its all relative).
