Where to buy burnt candy peanuts?

I know I can buy these online, but I'm looking for a store in the vicinity where I can get them sooner and not have to pay shipping. Does anyone know of someplace in the LA vicinity (preferably Westside) where I might find them?

Thanks in advance!

    Have you tried Cost Plus?

No, but I will now. Thanks! Tried local candy stores and haven't had any luck yet...

Try http://garveycandy.com/ Their warehouse is HUGE. I did do a search for burnt candy peanuts and they didn't show up but maybe they are under another name. Give them a call.

        Per the OP:

"I know I can buy these online, but I'm looking for a store in the vicinity where I can get them sooner and not have to pay shipping ..."

        :-)

Thanks, I do know how to read. Like I wrote, they have a HUGE warehouse. The implication is that you can go there:)

I'm assuming this is the same item. There is a place called Candy Warehouse in El Segundo that in their search function comes up with something called "French burnt peanut candy" which I assume is what you're looking for. Trouble is it cames in packages holding 5 pounds of the stuff. If you're not dissuaded, their FAQ says you can pick up candy to save on shipping, but you have to call them to arrange a pick up schedule they don't have a showroom. http://www.candywarehouse.com/

Are you near a Henry's/Sprouts? Candy/burned sugar coated peanuts are sold in the bulk bins.

Thanks for the info, Cathy! Found a plastic prepack of them at Sprouts. Never would have thought to look there if not for your suggestion...
