Japanese Cooking Lessons in Silicon Valley Area

I'd like to give my son a gift of a series of Japanese Cooking Lessons. He is fluent in Japanese so if the teacher doesn't speak english that wouldn't be a problem. Either in a class or on a one to one basis. I'd really like to hear from anyone in this area who has either been to classes or is a teacher.
