Suggestions for restaurant dinner on December 25th (evening)?

millerowski Dec 12, 2011 05:10 PM

A friend who used to live here and whom I haven't seen in 15 years (!) is coming down for the holiday, and I want to take him some place that is absolutely wonderful but doesn't cost more than $100 or so per person before wine. Ideas? right now am leaning towards George's Calif. Modern. Do not want to go inland far (like RB Inn, for ex.). (Addison's is doing December 24th but not 25th.) Thanks!

If you go to www.opentable.com and insert 12/25/11 7 p.m, 54 restaurants are available. Looking under price range column, 32 are within the price range you request.

Do you happen to know of anything between Denny's and the price range of the restaurants listed above? My family has decided that eating out for Christmas is a good idea, but doesn't want to spend more than $35 on a meal, and all of the ones I've found are ~$50 pp.

            Not quite $35 but Terra - http://www.terrasd.com/celebrate-chri... - is doing a $39 Christmas dinner. $15 for kids

              Ba Ren?

              Spicy City?

I would guess a szechuan Chinese meal would be easily obtained on Christmas, and it's not only tasty but affordable.

              Ethnic food is good.
