Kosher Food at Curacao Mariott

Going to be heading to Curacao for a weekend in February. I noticed that the Mariott there announced in 2010 that they had opened a Kosher kitchen on site there (we are staying elsewhere).
See this link for the details.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this (i.e. how is the food) and if it was just catering for large events or would they prepare food for 2 people?

  1. I can't tell you about the food as it's been quite a few years since I've been in Curacao, but I can tell you that you're going to love the island. It's absolutely beautiful. Try to make sure that you get out of Willemstad for a bit. And if you're going to be there over Shabbat, try to daven at Mikve Israel. The congregation is now Reconstructionist, but it is one of the oldest synagogues in the Western hemisphere and the experience is worth it. You might get looked at funny if you daven Orthodox (yes, I got some curious stares), but it was pretty special. Have a great trip.
