Sunday Delivery Blues

It's Sunday afternoon and I'm hungover in St-Henri.

I need some delicious comfort food brought to my door.

Indian, Thai or Vietnamese please.

Nothing seems to be open for delivery until 5:30 today. Any suggestions?

lol I think every couple of months you post a similar request OliverB! I am going to start a personalised delivery system just for the people in St Henri who are hungover! I'll make a big batch of gourmet mac and cheese or something on Saturday and spend Sunday delivering it to everyone who is dying for some home delivered comfort food!

I can wait until 5:30pm, but I am in St. Henri and having the same problem. I'm studying for my wine exam and need food! No time to cook. (Time to search for delivery on the internet, though...).

Well it's almost 5:30 now but I caved about an hour ago and order from Yusiao or whatever the name of the very good Greek place on Queen Mary is called. They'll surprisingly trek all the way out here. Satisfaction!

Everything I've ordered so far.

Very very very good souvlaki pitas, excellent Greek salads, pretty good grilled octopus and calamari apps, decent spakopita I suppose. Worth it for the souvlaki pitas and salads alone though. Really good food and pretty affordable too.

Greek place on Queen Mary is called Yia Sou and it's great - have both eaten there and picked up and I would recommend everything (as OliverB said all pitas, greek salads, fried calimari). They also have Taverna chicken which is a whole chicken grilled and cut up - delicious. Like Nostos but closer to (my) home - or Agora on Somerled but better. Also very very friendly.

Ya I went back, the eggplant and beef dish is worth a try if youre desperate. Good to know that the greek place on queen mary delivers. How was it?

Greek place is fantastic, see my post below. It'll be my new go-to for these kind of days.

Until we get decent daytime hour Asian/Indian home delivery in this hood.
