Can you tell me where I can purchase/order a Pork Crown Roast for Christmas?

I would like to get my order in. If anyone can point me to a butcher or store you know of from Los Angeles to Victorville, Ca.I would appreciate it.
I would love to dazzle my guest with this beauty.

Thank you so much for your time.

  1. Any grocery with a meat cutter older than 40 should be able to supply this for you by advance order. These hardworking people are usually well trained and experienced in custom work, but get scant opportunity to use their skills. You might just make someone's day with the request!

or look online or in the yellow pages for "Custom Meats" You should see reviews online as well.

Thank you toodie Jane! You are correct when you say older then 40. I went to Winco yesterday they did not have and I could not order.
Also I went to Overland meat Co and was surprised the yong guy had never heard of it. I will be ordering my USDA Prime Rib from them. Perhaps I will ask for the owner (who is over 40) about the Crown Pork Roast. :)

    2. Suggest that follow-ups go to, as the OP has started two threads on this topic.

      1. I saw one the other day in the fresh cut meat case at the Ralph's on Ventura and Coldwater. It looked great.

Thank you. That area has the audience for it. I am on the phone with Hunting meats and they do carry it. I will check Ralphs closer to home as well. $65 to $75 they would charge at 3.99 lb.
