New Year's Eve ideas ? Food related events or unique restaurant spots?

Starting to think about New Years Eve ideas. Not interested in going to a "club" or anything like that and I know that typically everything is overpriced that night. Curious if anyone has done something interesting that is food related and enjoyed it enough to share as a suggestion for this year.

        Ha, maybe next year :)

I got an e-mail from DiningDateNight regarding a prix fix menu at Marben. I am attaching a copy here because I couldn't find it on Marben's site. If you go via Diningdatenight you can save 30% off but it has to be for the first seating (I think 5:30pm).

If anyone else sees any other special menus please post.

Sorry, my mistake! Yes, 30% . I edited my post to reflect the correction.

Also says 2 hour max seating. And I think it only applies to 5:30 seating even though you can pick the others. So, you will be out of there by 7:30

I just bought the Marben deal through Dining Date Night and was able to buy for the 7pm seating... So I think the discount applies to all seatings available (5pm-7pm) as the NYE special had it's own special offer box separate from the usual listing

*edited to say I sent them a quick email to confirm and they've already replied that all the available times are considered first seating and will get the 30% discount :). Good customer service!
