Restaurant in the Village for NYE dinner?

HI folks:
I'd love your help for some solid recommendations for a great dinner spot on New Year's Eve in the Village.

Last time we did this we had dinner at Blue Hill in the West Village and it was fantastic! Can you recommend some other great places we could try that would be appropriate for a NYE dinner (followed by meeting friends for drinks at a local bar party also in the Village) it doesn't need to be a place that has a special late seating for NYE, just a great place for foodies to make yummy noises and enjoy the ambiance.

Thanks so much!

  1. I would choose Perilla or Kin Shop (we are going to Kin Shop this year).

    Kin Shop
    469 6th Ave, New York, NY 10011

    1. Any part of the Village? (West/East/Central?)

A lot of the more popular places are going to be already booked - should have asked this a week-and-a-half ago, probably. But that said...

Momofuku Ssam Bar is doing a NYE thing, IIRC. Probably booked solid but you never know - worth checking.

I see there's still tix available for the James Beard House dinner - seven courses, plus hors d’Oeuvres, including wine for $250 if you've got the $$$$ to spend.

Don't know if the Babbo NYE is fully booked yet, or how much it costs (probably quite a lot) but you could check with them.

A number of places don't put special nights on opentable as well - so worth calling your favorites to find out.

110 Waverly Pl, New York, NY 10011

      Momofuku Ssam Bar
      207 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003

      James Beard House
167 West 12th Street, New York, NY 10011

Thanks for the replies....any other suggestions.

Perilla is the only place suggested that has availability - and while it sounds awesome the NYE menu seems very limited for our group.

        Any other suggestions?

(Going in a totally different direction )What do you think of DBGB?

What about Fatty Cue, RedFarm, or Wong?
