Dinner with out of town guests (DC)
I'm looking for somewhere to take some out of town guests Saturday. The information I have is limited - they would prefer somewhere that features organic and/or sustainably sourced/local menu items, and they have rejected my original suggestion of Smoke and Barrel (I've been wanting to try it and thought it was a cute neighborhood to take visitors to).
My preference is for somewhere with a nice, comfortable vibe, a reasonably good beer list, and where I can get away with wearing (nice) jeans. I've been wanting to try more places in the 14th st area, but I'm open to other areas too.
