Flavor will start serving a 6-course tasting menu starting next week. SD sadly lacks places which offer tasting menus so it will be interesting to see how they will be doing.

Finally... been waiting for this for awhile... I'm also wondering when the charcuterie will be ready for prime time. I've had some samples and it was very promising.

I was there about a year ago. The place strikes me more of a place for lonely del mar housewives to congregate over "designer cocktails." Food was not good.

They recently changed chefs and so gthe food might be on a different quality than you experienced.

We were there just a few months ago- so not sure how recent this was- but the appetizers and soups were solid, the mains not so much. The service is pretty mediocre.

Their sister wine bar- sip is way way way overpriced (even for the location) and the food leaves a lot to be desired. Also someone should be shot for putting the wines we saw on a wine bar's list. Nothing against costco wines (they have plenty of solid wines), but I expect quite a bit more from a wine bar.
