The good- I really love CHOW.com. So much that I used to pass it along to our Resort guests during my daily cooking demonstrations.
I would also bring to the guest's attention the Ingredient Search feature, and how they could enter an ingredient name and get all the information about said ingredient, particularly the "flavor affinities" category at the very bottom, (a very useful tool in the kitchen).
The not so good- I no longer bring CHOW.com to their attention as it seems the "View results in" filter no longer has the "Ingredients" option, just "Recipes" and "All CHOW".
Recently I tried searching for an ingredient but quickly became frustrated after the search returned over 20 pages of results. Since my results weren't on the first 3 pages, I gave up. I just don't have the time.
So, I'm begging you, please put the "Ingredients" option back in the "View results in" filter.
It's really the only reason I visit the site in the first place.
