Anyone been to Flat Top Stir-Fry in Birmingham?
The Super Deal is offering a $10-for $20 deal to Flat Top today and I was considering purchasing it--but then checked Urbanspoon and one reviewer (there were only 3) said that Genghis Grill was better except for service.
I know it's only 10 bucks, but we've had enough bad experiences with these restaurants offering coupons that I'd rather go to a better place than waste the time and money on a so-so place.
So, any opinions?

The coupon may make Flat Top a better deal. It's your basic pile up the raw stuff and some guy cooks it for you place. But Flat Top charges $13 a bowl. The 20 or so sauces to choose or combine are fun. But the raw ingredients aren't that special, compared to what they charge.

If your SIL threw up for 12 hours I hope she went to the ER!
I liked Flat Top the one time we went. I went with the standard steak and vegetables with the sesame teriyaki sauce IIRC that is the name of it.. and brown rice. It was very good, not 'amazing' but a nice lunch and reasonably healthy.
