Top-notch NOLA restaurants that offer gift cards?

kdgchow Dec 8, 2011 07:04 AM

I'm in NY and my parents are celebrating their 35th anniversary this week. They're also planning to take a trip to New Orleans sometime in January and as an anniversary gift, I'd like to treat them to a special dinner while they're there.

Are there any top-notch restaurants in the city that offer gift cards? If so, can they be ordered over the phone or on-line?

Thanks for any suggestions!

I'm buying a gift card for patois for my daughter & SIL.. I'm still thinking about the Sunday brunch. I also checked the Besh website & there is a certificate that can be used at several of his restaurants. Any of the restaurant websites should have gift info.

If you like the Ralph Brennan restaurants (Redfish Grill, Ralph's on the Park, etc.) -- by the way, I do, they are offering a $25 bonus gift card if you buy $100 worth of gift cards through the end of the year. so this might be a way to give them a little extra. You can find them online. I'm not sure what your definition is of "top notch," but I've always found them to be consistently of good quality and lacking in pretense.

Can't think of any that don't. Pick up the phone.
