New Years Eve [Stamford CT]

I am looking for a place for New Years Eve to dine with friends. A place that has some level of live music or something festive. Not a kids scene. I know Polpo will have a trio in the piano bar.
Any other thoughts based on past experiences?

Stamford has so many cool place downtown now for New years! What type of food and ambiance are you looking for? You can literally take a stroll down Bedford st. and check out what those Rest. are planning for New Years, there are so many! Unless you want somewhere bigger like Mortons or Capital Grill.

I'm guessing that InderB is in the Greenwich, CT area, as there's a Polpo in Greenwich. However, that was a big assumption...there could be another Polpo in the S. New England area.

Sorry. I am based in Stamford. So any place 20 minutes north or south would work.
