Unlikely. While some of the food choices are tempting, standing around in a dreary urban parking lot to enjoy them isn't. If you could buy beer or wine, it might take the edge off for me, but the crowds who show up sure don't seem to mind. There have been posts on this you may want to check, and as an adventure after arrival it might be fun to see what the local trucks are up to. Instead I will be watching the best high-school basketball tournament in the country, where the food is terrible and I am forced to pack my own sandwiches.

note that this month (december) the event is going to be at the park on the Ewa side of Ohe Steet on Ala Moana (805 Ala Moana the 'panhandle' of Kakaako Park.) I'm guessing the trucks will park on Ohe Street.

Enjoy the basketball Macaraca, i bet you make ono sandwich

I start with the large sliced sourdough from Mauna Kea bakers...doesn't matter much where you go from there....guaranteed ono!
