Recommendations for Salamanca and Barcelona

I am going to be in Salamanca (1 week) and Barcelona for (3 weeks).

I am going with my family and would like good food, nothing touristy nor extremely fancy. Dinner and tapas. Wineries. Seafood (Barcelona). We are open to both traditional-local as well as modern cuisines.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Tapas at Plaza Mayor: Cervantes and Novelty. Tapas restaurant: Bambú on Calle Prior 4. A must for first-timers to Salamanca: Las Conchas on Calle La Rúa 26. Bizarre tapas (kangaroo, ostrich, shark, sea urchin) at Galatea on Calle del Prado 11. La Viga on Calle del Consuelo 16, the thing here is 'jeta' (crispy pig cheek). Dining in a patio: Delicatessen & Café on Calle Meléndez 25.

Am I too late to recommend some tapas bars for Salamanca?

For tapas: Tapas Tevere, C/ Van Dyck 38-40 - I really love this guy's cooking - modern Spanish; Cuzco, again, more modern style, beautifully cooked food, I think is along Juan del Rey, and Ito's - lots of variety without a heavy focus on meat, Calle de Pozo Hilera 6. Enjoy.
