Anywhere to buy inexpensive whole squid in 16/32oz packages in or near Santa Monica?

My local grocery stores don't seem to carry it. Anyone seen frozen squid around?

  1. Costco has frozen squid for around $9 a package.

    1. Santa Monica Seafood on Wilshire has has it frozen, or defrosted at the counter.

It's not bad. (I'm not a big fan of this place, but some things are okay - including the squid. )

Oh wait, just read that you wanted "whole squid" - so I'd call and see if they have it. What they sell (that I know and buy) are the cleaned bodies and tentacles.

You guys are awesome. I can get at both places. Can't believe I didn't think to check Costco. Thank you!
