Hollywood Restaurant

We have friends from out of the country who want a "Hollywood" night, so I'm looking for somewhere with a stereotypical Hollywood scene, but also great food. I have heard that Asia de Cuba is not as busy/fun as it used to be, but I'm thinking somewhere along those lines. Any suggestions?

I actually really like Asia de Cuba. The one in NYC just closed! So upset.

Well, the other suggestions are good ones (though I think Dan Tana is more "Old Hollywood" and not really along the lines of Asia de Cuba) but only Katsuya is in Hollywood proper. The others are in WeHo or elsewhere (and so is Asia de Cuba, come to think of it..) When I think of trendy Hollywood, I think of:

Lexington Social
Cleo
Public Bar & Kitchen
Osaka Hollywood
Cafe Entourage (haven't been but just the name screams of Hollywood and have seen decent reviews)
and yeah, Katsuya for sure

Dan Tana's is Classic. Great vibe and right near the strip. Ask to sit in the room where there is always action. Steaks are very good as is the whitefish. My favorite is the chicken be Kerman with all dark meat.
