Queen St W & Ossingtion recs?

My wife and I are coming into town to do a little Christmas shopping at Fred Perrys, near Queen and Ossington. Looking for a lunch recommendation please.

        They open at 3 p.m. on weekend so if you need a late lunch... :-)

          The Swan serves great food! I recommend it over County, by a country mile....

            I was back at the County last night and the chicken two ways was amazing. The pork buns were delicious – buns soft and lovely, pork tender and wonderfully fatty. The pork rib special featured the best ribs I've had in a long time. And the show stopper was the most delish house made jelly donut I've ever had. I've been to the Swan many times and I've never had anything I think about the next day.

              Swan isn't terrible, nice vibe there but I'd go to County General first without hesitation.

                It is not fair to compare the County Dinner to the County lunch! Two different animals! The OP is looking for lunch and that is why I prefer The Swan!

                County General without a doubt over the swan, which has ok to middling food but a great ceasar.

                Pizzeria Libretto - 3 course lunch prix fixe $15. Neither County General or Libretto take reservations, so if its Saturday, good luck!

                  County General at Queen and Shaw. Great food, fun environment and a nice list of cocktails.

                  Delux on Ossington does a nice cuban sandwich for lunch.
