Hong Kong - First time visiting group looking for private kitchen
I will be taking a group of 4 family members (husband, brother, parents) to Hong Kong (as part of a multi city trip). We will be staying in Hong Kong for only two night and I want to have at least one of our dinner plans set up before we arrive.
I was thinking of trying out a private kitchen, serving Cantonese/Hong Kong style food. I've been looking at the following three:
- Club Qing
- Yin Yang
- Ta Pantry
Since I got these from the NY times I assume there are other/better places to be found. But even after searching openrice.com I'm not sure where/how to start looking.
Hopefully you can point me in the right direction. Location and price are not as important as the experience and taste.
All three are pretty average compared to the food and selection you will get at a proper high level or even street level Cantonese restaurant....
They are just popular due to the craze on exclusivity/ private dining. I would ignore them all and go to the Chairman.
Have a look at e_ting's blog for a recent review of Ta Pantry etc.
