Full Prime Rib Supper...any suggestions?

  • 3

I am looking for a restaurant that does the traditional prime rib dinner complete with yorkshire pudding.

I hear tell that Prime at the Windsor Arms does this, but from what I heard from a couple of friends they were not that impressed. However, this was quite a while ago, so I am not even sure if Prime does it anymore.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  1. House of Parliament does on Sundays. You'll have to check recent reports on quality, though, as they moved into a new space not that long ago.

    1. Tom Jones and Barberian's serve Prime Rib, but I don't know if they serve Yorkshire pudding. I'd guess that they don't serve it, but it might be worth calling to confirm. They do serve some good garlic bread with their dinners.

Ceili Cottage serves a Sunday Roast. The type of roast varies from week to week. Guess you could call to ask about upcoming Sunday roasts. http://www.ceilicottage.com/menu.htm

Queen & Beaver offers a Rib Roast with Yorkshire Pudding for groups of 8, if you order in advance. http://queenandbeaverpub.ca/wp-conten...

      1. In the east end, Feathers pub on Kingston Road west of Vic Park does it Sundays (and maybe Saturdays too), with yorkshire pudding, it's basic but fine. The Bo Peep, much further out on Kingston Road, also used to do a good version but it's been many years since I went out that way and I heard it was sold about 5 years ago (after being owned by the same family for 50 years apparently, so I imagine there have been some changes).
