Christmas dinner on South Padre (or near by) - any recommendations?

Anybody had a good Christmas dinner on or near SPI in the last few years? Looking for quality over quantity - no instant mashed potatoes! A menu with vegetarian options is preferred. Also, if you know any good place to eat that won't be doing a 'Christmas Dinner,' but will be open on Christmas that would be welcome too. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

In case anybody else ever searches for this:

There was at least one hotel hosting a Christmas Buffet and Tom & Jerry's was open and serving all day as well. We went to Tom & Jerry's for a nice stiff drink. Other than that we decided to buy some amazing fresh ceviche and boiled shrimp at Joe's on the mainland and a bottle of champagne would be better and more festive than any other option. It was a nice festive meal, probably better than anything open and very affordable. I recommend this if you are fine with dining in your room.
