one for dinner tonight

I've got a rare evening to dine solo tonight.

Need recs for the one meal to have before I pick up my kid late tonight.

anywhere from Boston/Jamaica Plain/Cambridge/Somerville to the Rte 128 belt between Dedham and Burlington.

More interested in the food experience than being trendy.

Casual, jeans ok place preferred.

      Toroya in Arlington, or (if you're willing to travel farther north, Sushi Island in Wakefield for sushi
      Tacqueria el Amigo or Mexico in Waltham

      or any of the choices above, like 'em all.

          Were it me, i would try the Cambodian places in Lowell or the Indian places in Chelmsford (Pongal).
