"le canard libèré" at 4396 St Laurent(south of Mont Royal & north of Marie-Anne)is an amazing offering of foie gras, duck & goose pâtés, duck confits , potato chips fried in duck fat. There is 25% off any foie gras(from various Brome Lake, Québec farms)which are frozen. There are also an interesting array of vinaigrettes made from ingredients of the surrounding area. There is a small café area(a little industrial looking) which serves things such as a duck, goat cheese open face sandwich or a duck poutine. One can get foie gras at the French butchers in the Atwater market, but this place has more selection & they know how to pack for travel (although a small jar got confiscated by airport security unless I returned to presecurity to check in my bag):http://bromelakeducks.com
