Late night downtown Vancouver on a weeknight?

Hi everybody,
So, I'm flying into Vancouver for two days in early december, and I want to be able to sample the best that Vancouver has to offer. We get in quite late on the first night, and probably won't be able to make dinner until around 10pm. We're staying in downtown Vancouver, and wondering if you could make a suggestion for the best restaurant possible. Please note that we're flying in from Hong Kong, so I would rather not have any Chinese food. Thanks!

Joe Fortes is open until 11PM -a good choice for Oysters and mainstream seafood if that appeals.

There are a multitude of Izakaya options downtown now as well-of which Guu has a number of operations.

Gastown is a favourite of many but more for bars-cabbing in & out of the hood is safe enough.

I believe Hawksworth is open until midnight.

I think Boneta stays open quite late as well. Twisted Fork is open til midnight. Both are very good.
