Sourdough Pizza Dough Recipe Needed

I made a sourdough* starter for pancakes and just added to it after I made the batter so that I have starter for another project. I think a pizza would be a great next project for me. Does anyone have a tried and true recipe out there? I did a google search, but prefer recommendations. Thanks

* I realize that there is much debate on whether starter made from commercial yeast is a true sourdough or not, but for lack of a better term I am using the word "sourdough".

  1. I ended up going with a King Arthur Flour web site recipe. Overall it was a good choice and one that I won't hesitate to use again. The starter added a lot in terms of taste and texture. Although the starter isn't too sour there was a detectable in the flavor of the crust; however, it tasted good and was not overpowering at all. The texture was probably the best texture I've achieved in my pizza dough making experience; it had a nice chewiness, sort of similar to a good bagel. It came out uniformly crispy, not sure if the starter contributed to the crispiness in some way or if it was because I forgot I was preheating my oven and the pizza stone got extra hot. If you have never started a starter I highly recommend it. My next starter experiment will be one I read about in the NY Times that uses pineapple juice instead of yeast.
