Now, lets have some fun!
Thanks so much LM. I'm late to the party as work continues to take precedence over my love for this site these days!! ; (
I love this book though and since most dishes I've made so far have been quick and delicious, I'm committed to cooking and posting this month.
Tonight I've pasted links to reviews of three dishes I made pre-COTM and this weekend, I'll post my reviews of the two new dishes I've made this month...the Smoky Shrimp and Halibut Stew and the Braised Beef Short Ribs Chinese Style. FYI, both were wonderful but having just cleaned our plates after enjoying the short ribs, I have to say that dish was outstanding. Such wonderful flavours. We especially loved the anise flavour imparted by the star anise. 5 forks up on that one!!
Looking forward to cooking along with everyone this month . . . I'm impressed by how many dishes folks have tried so far, I can't wait to sit down and read your reviews!!!
In case people want quick access to the recipe links in the previous thread, these will take you there.
