HELP ! Need restaurant suggestion soon....

Taking finance to see a show at the Chicago theater Saturday. Looking for restaurant that is cozy, yummy and preferably about 150.00 ( including tips and possibly bottle of wine) . We are both meat eaters and also love wine. I am open to other ideas as well. I would prefer for the place to be close to Chicago theater. Thanks !! Oh, it's his birthday, too...

Henri? A nice place for a celebration if you can still get a reservation. You should be OK with budget as long as you don't go crazy with the wine. There is not much else in that area that I would consider cozy.

Is across the street close enough? Cibo Matto is in the Hotel Wit across the street and would meet all your requirements.

Cibo Matto closed in September.

Take a look at La Madia or or Quartino- both are excellent and you could easily meet your budget (with wine) and walk to the theater.

Nooooooooo!!! Really liked that place.

Kind of rough to have the hotel's restaurant closed.

I love Quartino, but it's not really a special spot (and you could have 2 great meals for 2 there for $150).

My next closest spot would be Bin 36 (and don't tell me they closed).
