Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Boston (and suburbs)

Looking for a good lunch spot in Somerville

My coworkers and I are doing a Taza Chocolate factory tour which starts at 4pm.
We want to have a nice lunch before, probably 2-3:30... any recommendations for something in union square or close enough to the Taza (561 Windsor Street, Somerville).

Any type of cuisine is okay...just looking for recommendations.

Thank you!

  1. All-Star Sandwich Bar in Inman - within walking distance.

do they have entrees or just sandwiches? It's a company holiday lunch so we would like something a little more than sandwiches.

      thanks for the rec though!

In that case, how big a party will you have? And what is your maximum price per person? A lot of the non-sandwich places in Inman and Union aren't open for lunch.

there are 4 of us, maybe 5... price per person: about $30-40ish, including a drink or two?

Muqueca and Machu Picchu Charcoal Chicken are good suggestions. Also, Russell House Tavern - City Girl Cafe -

      2. muqueca for brazilian seafood. machu picchu grill for chicken

        1. Ronnarong Thai
Buk Kyung for Korean (not fancy, but food is good)

If Tupelo is open for lunch, it's a fun spot.

          1. Casa Portugal does lunch. So does Atwood's, Thurs-Sun. (never been, don't know how "nice").
