Tamps FL BBQ and Diner's.............

I will be at the Homewood Suites near the airport in Tampa for about 10 days. Can you suggest a few good BBQ joints and a few diners with good country food near the HS. Thanks for the help.

On BBQ, I would recommend Jimbo's on Kennedy and Holy Hog on Armenia. Jimbo's for the nostalgia and Holy Hog for the best all-around. Plus HH has brisket also.

X2 on Holy Hog, Jimbo's is more of a fun space, but the food never blew me away.

if you don't mind a drive, Hot Rod's is really awesome. Great bat.
