40th Birthday Lunch Place

I'm turning 40 on Tuesday and am taking the day off work to shop with my mom. I'd like to go to lunch some place very pretty with good food. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! (We'll be all over town so flexible on locale.)

It may be tough getting a rez on such short notice but try calling (don't always go by what Opentable shows): Eleven Madison Park (beautiful room and flower arrangements), Jean-George (not Nougatine), Toqueville (very classy and refined), The Dining Room at The Modern (looking out on to the sculpture garden - beautiful)
