Plum Pudding

How long before Christmas should I make my plum pudding...my recipe does not have booze in it.

    I made mine today. It's hard to say without knowing your recipe. I make a traditional English pudding that steams for 6-8 hours, it has a cup of hard cider, a couple of Tbs of rum and Guiness which is very little alcohol and they're fine stored in the fridge before re-steaming on C Day.

      Thanks - Athena....I'm going to check my recipe....and see exactly what's in it...might wait for a week or so yet.
