Places to recommend in the Bywater or Marigny?

We will be attending a late performance on Congress--any places to try nearby? I would rather try something local and not overrun with tourists.

    Elizabeth's, Mimi's, The Joint, Pho King at the Lost Love Lounge, sometimes Bacchanal has a food truck out back, check their website. And if by "late" you mean very late, Buffa's is open 24/7 ... none of these are exactly best of class but they're all pretty good.
