Jamie Oliver's Travel Escapes - has anyone watched them

I just bought a 6-disc set of Jamie's Travel Escapes. But I don't know whether to unwrap them or not.
Did you enjoy them? I used to be a fan of Floyd's escapades and wondered if he is the next "Floyd."

Not a Jamie Oliver fan. Watched one of his travel shows, & he was just as self-important & pompous as he is in all his other endeavors. Frankly, I really don't see what he sees in himself.

Yep. Watched them all (and have the book). Obviously not an in depth study of the cuisine of the countries visited but reasonably good fun to watch. But, no, Oliver is never about to become a new Floyd.

Having pottered round the Med with this series, and done his American series, it's good that his current series is back home.

Thanks for your review. I have not been a fan of Jamie's so I didn't know that he had other travel/food series.

I think I'm just too old to appreciate his style, but I do like 'travels.'
