ID my knife!

I bought a santoku-style knife on clearance at Ming Wo (a boutique kitchen store here in Vancouver) sheerly because of its flawless balance. I'm curious to know if anybody has seen one of these before or can tell me what brand it is?

  1. Don't know how much it helps, but the Japanese katakana characters (which are used to write foreign words phonetically in Japanese) read Ma-Ki-Shi-Mu, which is how you would pronounce "Maxim".
