Lunch in Brampton

I'm looking for a nice lunch place near the 410/Queen Street. Any suggestions?

Chowhound-worthy lunches in Brampton seem to have evaporated. Our last dinner at Fanzorelli's was pretty grim. I suspect the cranky new owners paid far too much and are loosing it.

It might be worth your time to drive less than a half-hour to Streetsville and experience Bistro Chezanne's exceptional offerings. Simply the best chow in the area.

Bistro Chezanne! I was there very recently for my anniversary. A very lovely spot. Nice food, nice service, pretty setting. Certainly worth the trip!

There is not much in the "nice" line of restaurants in that area but here are a few suggestions.

The renovated City Centre at Dixie and Queen has a number of decent chains, Pickle Barrel, Moxies, Spring Rolls, etc..
Longhorns in the 410 & Queen plaza might be open for lunch, not my thing but it may do the trick. I think there is a Swiss Chalet in there as well.
Pho Peter on Kennedy just north of Queen has great Vietnamese
Frigate & Firkin right at the 410 & Queen as surprisingly good pub food
Burrito Boys just west of Kennedy on Queen right beside the Beer Store (not my favorite but people love them)
Oceans grocery store in the 410 & Queen plaza has a decent hot table for asian
Kelsey's and Wong's chinese buffet are in the plaza on the west side of 410 & Queen

I'm pretty sure you mean Lone Star, not Longhorn's.

There's also a Sunrise in that plaza if you want to try some Caribbean cuisine. And a Saigon Vietnamese place, but I haven't eaten there so I can't really suggest it.

You could try Fanzorelli's near Queen and Main. I haven't been there in a couple years since I lived in Brampton, but it was always pretty good.

At the 410 and Queen there's also a million chain restaurants. Dont know if that's your cup of tea, but there's a lot of options.
