My Thanksgiving Dinner from Smoke Daddy's

I have a lot to be grateful for this year. Now Smoke Daddy has provided me with some new happy memories to be grateful for and remember all year long.
I got the full Thanksgiving Dinner from Smoke Daddy this year. The New Year's Day roast pork dinner was so delicious I could not resist seeing how Smoke Daddy would do Thanksgiving right. For my sides I chose smashed potatoes, green beans and baked mashed sweet potatoes. My pick up time was two pm and everything was perfect and hot. I am awed by his loving attention to detail. There was even homemade cranberry sauce, not mentioned in the email. I usually do a cranberry compote with walnuts and raisins but Daddy used oranges, a delightful and unexpected change.
The bird was perfect. Golden brown, warm and ready to slice into. The smoked meat was succulent, tender and juicy. I can't wait to see what I will do with the leftover smoked turkey meat. I have so many ideas, from split pea soup to tacos. The rich smoked flavor lends itself to so many possibilities. The gravy was spot on. My shirt. Just kidding. There was inside and outside stuffing. All the leftovers are neatly stacked in my fridge in their aluminum pans, and there are only sliverware glasses and plates to wash. Everything was amazing and I have time and energy to spend with family and friends (and rave on chowhound)
I am a good cook and I love fixing Thanksgiving dinner. I don't believe I would trust the cooking to anyone else but Smoke Daddy but this was so worth it. I can only hope he will be willing to wake up at dawn next year for a repeat performance. Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow hounds and especially to Daddy and his support crew.

Thanks for the report...where are they located and would you mind sharing pricing?

Smoke Daddy is located in the back of the Eagles club in Lansdale. He is only open thurs-sat in the evenings. If he does Thanksgiving next year the prices might be higher but it was 75.00 for a stuffed turkey and gravy and 150.00 for three huge sides of your choice, enough for ten people. And he even included homemade cranberry sauce, a nice surprise. The sides were enough for ten people to eat generously and there was outside stuffing and inside stuffing. Daddy gave priority to those wanting the full feast and I didn't want to miss out so that is what I ordered. There is only limited space inside his huge smoker. I couldn't have been happier with my delicious and relaxing Thanksgiving feast.
