how can i make this exact bun ? - moved from Ontario (including Toronto) board

Has anyone had these buns from commisso bakery on kincort drive in toronto ? I absolutely love them and want the recipe. The right texture, fluffy-ness! And how do they get those grooves on the top of the bun ? see (attached photo)

if anyone has this recipe, or knows how to make this, can you pass it along.

The folks over at www.thefreshloaf.com are a wonderful and helpful bunch.

Lots of deep bread-baking knowledge over on that forum....just a thought.

thanks to all, you've been great. I will try the razor blade, go to Grande and check out thefreshloaf

You should try the small french rolls from Grande. They look an awful lot like that bun.

Grande is a cheese store that sells mostly Italian groceries (no produce). The one I go to is in Richmond Hill
9737 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 8S7, Canada
But there is one in Woodbridge and one on Orfus Rd.

the groove is created by slice a hash mark with a razor blade. not having tasted the bun i can't comment on how to make it but it looks like a standard french bread style bun
