sour cherry juices compared

Has anyone taste-tested some of the gazillion sour cherry juices and juice concentrates that are for sale? I've tried Cheribundi, which tastes great, very $$$, and Smart Juice, much less expensive, which tastes okay, not as excellent. I mixed them. I'd like to find sour cherry juice (usually called tart cherry juice or Montmorency cherry juice) that tastes good w/o added sugar. I tried Lakewood's (??) and that was not good--mixed juices, and didn't taste like sour cherry. All these juices are quite expensive, but there are big health claims (e.g., Dr. Oz) for sour cherry juice, for arthritis pain, antioxidants, and even melatonin, for sleep aid. Can anyone contribute information on what they've tried and liked? Thanks.

Check the Turkish brands - there are some that have no added sugar and are very good indeed. My husband is Mr. Sour Cherry and he likes these and the Knudsen the best.

I'm the world's biggest fan of Cherry Republic's sour cherry concentrate. You can mix it with water or seltzer to your favorite strength, and the jar contains nothing but montmorency cherries. I might just do a nice syupy shot of it just because it sounds so good right now. Cherryrepublic.com

Thanks. I've tried Knudsen's and I agree--very good. And I will look into Cherry Republic. Thanks for the replies.

I have loved Knudsen's organic juices for years. They have one called Just Tart Cherry that's out of this world. It's tart and sweet and it sure is tasty! Not cheap, but far superior to the others I've tried. Local food CoOp (the Honest Weight here in Albany) puts the Knudsen's juices on sale every couple of months and I stock up.

FYI, Knudsen's makes wonderful organic grape juices too. Two versions that I know of: one is called Just Concord Grape (not from concentrate) and the other is labeled Organic Concord Grape (that one is from concentrate). For grape juice I actually prefer the one that's from concentrate; the other is so rich and heavy that I wind up diluting it a bit. Plus, the Just Concord is pricier.
