Maison Giraud is officially open!
Lunch was great. Had a vegetable pistou soup which was both light, fresh and flavorful. (for those wanting to watch your weight - as I am trying to mitigate the damage going into the next few days this soup is what you want). Also had the trout amadine with haricot verts - trout was fresh, perfectly cooked. The haricot verts had that just picked up at the farmer's market this morning taste - fresh, big flavor.
Service was doing an admirable job considering the fact they were a bit understaffed, but they're still in the midst of pulling it together. Place was packed inside and out and by the time we left - there was a line outside.
Looking forward to dinner. Actually, I woke up early this morning craving canneles. And thought I was early for lunch - they were out. So if you're craving or thinking of stocking up - give them a few weeks to gear up for demand. Or call first.
