want to try my first ever pork-bone soup, where should I go?
So, I have never had the stuff but really want to try it. I should mention I'm a hardcore downtowner, so won't be venturing out to Markham, etc. So, I'm asking for recommendations on which place in Koreatown (Bloor St. W.) is currently putting out the best bowl of Gamjatang. I'm not necessarily looking for the spiciest, but rather the most flavourful, with the best banchan to go with it. Also, are there any side dishes (other than the banchan) that people would recommend I order with it if I'm really hungry?

Owl of Minerva is one of the best in Koreatown, but just for gamjatang. Also, it's open 24 hrs.

I second Owl of Minerva for gamjatang, but like aser said, the banchan isn't inspiring. I'm also a sucker for their dubu kimchi, even though it's easy to make at home.
If you opt for Owl of Minerva's gamjatang, get the original. The one with rice cakes (dduk) is blander and costs more.
