Also, check out the Inn to Inn Cookie Tour that is in the North Conway area. I think the Inns also display gingerbread houses during the tour.

Unfortunately the Cookie Tour is having decorated Christmas Trees instead of Gingerbread Houses this year :(

The Ikea in New Haven, Conn. used to sponsor a contest every year. Not sure if they are this year.

The Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, Maine has a gingerbread house contest, and the pastry chef always produces something amazing, which is not a contender in the contest.
